Up-Cycled Glass Terrarium
Going through my Mother In Law's things as she was decluttering and preparing for a move I found this old rusted glass terrarium. Instead of instantly throwing it away, I had a vision to fix it up and that is exactly what I did. I love how it turned out.
I forgot to take pictures of the process since, at the time, I didn't know I would be starting a blog. I will be sure to remember next time. The first step for this project was to remove all the glass panels and clean them Windex. Next, I did my best to sand every inch of the metal to remove as much rust as possible. After the sanding process, which took a good amount of time, I wiped everything down and began the spray painting process. I chose white so that whatever plant I decided to put inside would pop. After many coats, the finished product was complete!
I couldn't be more pleased and can't wait to display this in my house once we move.
