Goodwill Haul: Punta Gorda Trip
This past weekend I went on a camping trip to Punta Gorda, FL and of course I had to stop by the local goodwill. I didn't really need anything but I like to look and I found a few items. I found a size 8 (slightly too big in the waste but comfy everywhere else) black old navy shorts and black and pink gym shorts from the Walmart brand Danskin. For clothing, I have a spending limit of $5 and both of these shorts were $4.99 each which is a little too close to my limit but I needed some nice black shorts and gym shorts.
I have been looking for a large pencil bag for all my sharpies and planner pens/markers but they have been so expensive. Ally found me a really cute fish one that was originally from Marshals, even had the tag still. It was $2.99
The last item we bought from good will was a pack of 4 small glass bowls for $1.99. In the near future Ally is going to make these rock citronella candles as gifts for our family. Once they are complete I will post about them! All credit will go to Ally on this DIY, though.
Yesterday, I took a trip to Ross Dress for Less because Ally needed a shirt for a concert. I was browsing through the clearance section of clothes and found these really comfortable pants. They are legging material but baggy with pockets and draw string waist. I love having these types of pants for around the house and for trips out when I just need to be comfy. My current pair now that I found in China for $1 are getting a little worn. I am still keeping the old for PJs but I was ecstatic when I found the new pair and they were only $4.39 because they are usually expensive! I was orginally going to get a medium because they fit perfectly but then I decided to get a large to be more baggy on me for comfort reasons. I didn't want them form fitting for when I sleep.
