Happy Halloween! October Thrifted OOTD!
Happy Halloween everyone! It's the last day of October which calls for my blog of my thrifted outfits of the day I have this month. This is a new posting I will try to do every month (not sure how well this will go since I wear a lot of outfits over and over). I will show you ways to mix and match thrifted items to create cute and stylish outfits. Not including shoes, all of my thrifted outfits of the day are under $8!
When coming up with thrifted looks you have to think outside the box. Also, don't forget that the same piece worn with a different top or bottom can make a huge fashion difference!
Here are my thrifted outfits of the month for the month of October. I will tell where I got each item and for how much. Enjoy and get inspired!
The above left outfit is one of my all time favorites because of the colors and the style of the shirt. The total cost of the outfit is... drum roll... $3.00!!! I got the faded blue skinny jeans at Goodwill 50% off color tag event for $2 and the shirt I found at a yard sale for $1. I don't have it captured, but I, also, like combining this top with a light pink color skinny jeans that were $1.50 from the Value Village Hall.
Above on the right, is another Value Village 50% off haul outfit. The dress was only $2. The leggings were a hammy downs! Now this dress has shorter sleeves but I just went with it. I would like it to be a little looser on me in the hips but that is what losing weight is for.
Above Right: This outfit I just through together one morning in a rush. It was a cooler day and I wanted to be comfortable at work. The pants were from Value Village for $1.50. The top I borrowed from Ally which she thrifted from Value Village for $2; making this outfit a total cost of $3.50.
Above Left: A new favorite! The shirt I just got at Goodwill for $4. There was no good sales happening but $4 is still under my clothes budget and I was in the need for more fall/winter clothing. The skinny jeans were $1.50 from Value Village. Most of my pants are from a huge haul I had at Value Village. The total cost for this outfit was $5.50.
Below Right: The top was purchased at a thrift store in West Virginia. Now I can't remember the exact price for the life of me but I know it was on sale and less than $3.00. It is a very comfortable gray sweater with a simple design. This top can be combined with many other colored pants or even black pants. The pants are from the Value Village haul and they cost me $1.50. The total cost for the outfit was less than $5!
Below Left: Again, the top was purchased from the same thrift store in West Virginia and, again, I can't remember the price but know it was less than $3. The jeans were actually purchased in China for $5 on sale. The estimated total cost for this outfit is $8.
Last but not least is the outfit pictured below. I put this outfit together one morning and was so proud of myself walking around at my job. To me, it is very sophisticated and stylish. The top is white button up with gold buttons that I got from Value Village for $2 and the bright red pants are also from Value Village; they cost me $1.50, making the total cost $3.50. My shoes I already had and they are black with a gold embellishment on the top which tied the outfit together. I couldn't be more proud of myself for this outfit because usually I am told I dress like a grandma and don't have much style but this day I hit the nail on the head!
Thank you for reading my blog on my monthly thrifted outfits! I can't thank my fans enough for following along with my hauls and DIYS. The next few months will be packed with thrifted gift ideas, crafts, and much much more so stay tuned!
